"Atlanta MD Weight Loss is a recipe much needed in today's environment, and we believe that this is the program for you." - Dr. Agbeyegbe
Kingsley Agbeyegbe ('ag-bay-egg-bay') is an internist by training who received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Benin, Nigeria. He then obtained his M.D. from the Universidad Central del Este, Dominican Republic. After his residency in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Hospital, Bronx-New York (through Cornell Medical School), Dr. Agbeyegbe lead a general practice in Atlanta for 10 years. He then decided to launch a medical practice that actually had bariatrics as its central mission. This is the branch of medicine which deals specifically with problems of obesity or being overweight.
A member of the Society of Bariatric Physicians, Dr. Agbeyegbe also has a personal interest in changing the course of the current obesity epidemic – one patient at a time. His approach draws on his expertise and interest in nutrition, metabolism, and endocrinology. It also takes into account each patient's entire health profile and various factors that may be inadvertently thwarting their weight loss success.
Losing weight is not an end unto itself. Rather, Dr. Agbeyegbe emphasizes the importance of proactively using weight loss & weight management to prevent impending disease and chronic health issues that are spawned by being overweight. Among this litany are diabetics, high blood pressure, joint and muscular difficulties, and heart & circulation problems.
Dr. Agbeyegbe is excited to be a change catalyst for a dynamic but realistic regimen that can easily become your lifestyle.
